Call for Nominations for the LACNIC Board of Directors
Montevideo, 12 August 2026.
The call for nominations to fill three positions on the LACNIC Board of Directors will begin on 26 August.
In accordance with the resolution adopted by the Extraordinary Member Assembly held on 4 May 2022, the Board of Directors is sharing the Regulations on Candidate Competencies and Suitability that will be used to evaluate candidates to LACNIC's statutory bodies. The elected directors will begin their term on 1st January 2027 and will serve until 31st December 2029.

The Board of Directors invites members to participate in this election and contribute to the formation of this body, which plays a vital role for the institution's operation.
We remind you that, under Article 24.1.1 of the LACNIC Bylaws, Incompatibilities for Members of the Board of Directors, candidates from Brazil are ineligible to stand for this election.
